School of Medicine Student Organizations
Organization of International Health - The OIH is composed primarily of Stanford University Medical School students who have come together with the desire to increase awareness of international health issues through educating at home and assisting abroad.
Unite for Sight - This non-profit organization was founded in 2000 by medical student, Jennifer Staple, who established the Stanford Chapter in 2005. The Unite for Sight student group offers opportunities for medical students and undergrads to work with communities worldwide to improve eye health and eliminate preventable blindness. Volunteer Teams work with partner eye clinics in developing countries to provide eye care and eye health education programs.
